If you want to buy a house, take a dream vacation, or pay for a wedding, a bit of planning goes a long way. How much of your paycheck is saved after paying your rent, food, gas, insurance, etc? We don’t need to calculate this number to the nth decimal place. Just a ballpark number will do as a first cut.
